Hi there! I’m Kristen!
I am an illustrator known for my thoughtful illustrations through all seasons in life – from celebration to waiting and grief, my works adorn homes and spaces all over the world.
I’ve expanded from calligraphy to watercolour and digital illustration. Inspired by everyday life, I create lighthearted and encouraging illustrations to remind people of their worth. After a decade of facing infertility and supporting loved ones through sickness and grief, I’ve built a collection reflecting all life’s seasons. My work encourages others through tough times and celebrates joyous occasions, grounded in the belief that life is precious and worth treasuring.
Family, Art & Music are my biggest loves
Before kids, music was my jam! I played percussion in a band and taught drums in university, where I met my now-husband, a full-time drum teacher. Family life is everything to me—I’m married with three children, daughters ages 4 and 6, and a newborn son!
Supporting Women on their Conception Journey
Having Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and struggling with fertility issues when conceiving my first child, I jumped at the opportunity to be part of Fertility Support SG to support women through a vulnerable part of life.
Bridging Professions: Using Art for Healthcare
My main career is in Healthcare, working with adults. As a dedicated healthcare professionaI, I bring a unique perspective to my art pieces that inspire and comfort. During the COVID era, I created several artworks for SingHealth’s Medical Humanities to encourage patients and healthcare workers. I have also collaborated with organisations like St Luke’s Hospital, Samaritans of Singapore, Anglican Preschool Services, Singapore Cord Blood Bank, and Fujifilm, providing illustrations that reflect my passion for healthcare and photography.
